A local Seattle woman and a government aide to a politician is now the center of a scandalous sex drama happening in the UK.
Ann Corbitt, a Seattle city government aide to Councilmember Tom Rasmussen, has shaken the soccer world with her connection to Ashley Cole. Ashley Cole is one of Britain's top soccer stars. The international scandal broke this past weekend when a British tabloid spilled the beans about their apparent affair.
On the front page of 'News of the World,' it shows Ashley Cole kissing Corbitt on the cheek. In the article, it states that Cole called Corbitt urging her to keep the affair quiet from his wife, Cheryl.
The affair supposedly happened in Seattle at Four Seasons Hotel last July. Corbitt claims in a video interview that Ashley seduced her when they first met in July. This was during the weekend that UK's Chelsea Football Team played against the Seattle Sounders.
The newspaper spoke to Corbitt who claims she didn't know Cole was married.

In the article, Corbitt says, "When he rang me and cried I asked him, 'What's wrong with you? Why do you cheat? Why did you have sex with me behind your wife's back? But he just replied that he didn't know. He admitted he'd cheated on her before and been exposed in the press. He was most vehement that I was the first person he'd cheated with. . . since the last time he got caught! I think he's got a problem."
Ashley's wife, Cheryl, is a well-known British star. She is a former pop artist and a judge on a very popular show called X-Factor. (Q13 FOX will be airing America's version of X-Factor in 2011.)
