Eatonville Benefit Raises $13,000 For Deputy Kent Mundell's Family
EATONVILLE - More than 700 people came out to a big fundraiser in Eatonville Monday night.

The owner of Jebino's Italian restaurant held a spaghetti buffet dinner.

Everyone dined free with a donation to the Kent Mundell Family Fund.

Mundell was the Pierce County Deputy gunned down when he responded to a domestic dispute last month. He will be laid to rest Tuesday afternoon.

Along with plenty of food there was live music by local artists.

To the surprise of most people, Sgt. Nick Hausner was there. He is the Deputy who was with Mundell when he was ambushed. Fortunately, Hausner survived a gunshot to the face. Hausner thanked the crowd for supporting him and the Mundell family.

The fundraiser lasted just four hours and more than $13,000 was raised.
