Brazen Fake Cops Robbing Fast Food Restaurants, Also Accused Of Rape
TACOMA - Fake cops are getting brazen. Not only are they accused of pulling over victims but now they're accused of rape.

Surveillance video from October 25th shows two fake cops pull over a mother and son, handcuff them and drive away in their car. The son had just picked up his mother from work at Burger King in Graham. The suspects handcuffed the son, put him in the trunk and drove back to burger king where they robbed the place.

Pierce County Sheriff's Sgt. Ed Troyer says, "This is going to be something that's escalating. These guys don't appear to have any fear of physical contact and they've taken it beyond just your normal theft or robbery so we're considering them very dangerous."

On November 5, these same suspects struck again. They pulled a Lakewood Wendy's employee and her boyfriend over heading home from work. The two suspects handcuffed the boyfriend, placed him in the trunk and demanded keys from the woman. When she said she didn't have the keys, the armed men took her into a wooded area and raped her.

Troyer says, "They're not very discriminatory where they're doing this at so they've hit Graham, Tacoma, Lakewood. So we want everybody county-wide and in the neighboring jurisdiction to understand what's going on and be aware of this."

The suspects are described as white males, ages 20-25 years old, about 5'8" and 150-190 pounds. They were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts, dark hats, bandanas covering their face, gloves and are armed with handguns.

Police are telling citizens not to pull over immediately if approached by an unmarked police car.

Troyer says, "Well if this happens to somebody and they see lights coming from an undercover car, they can keep themselves safe by just driving, maintaining the speed limit, going to a well-lit spot, pulling over, calling 911 on their cell phone and asking the dispatcher is this a real police officer or not and ask for a marked car."
