Trooper Richard Bjorkman with the Washington State Patrol is an all-star all the way.Bjorkman was honored as last year's Washington state trooper of the year.
Last year alone, he caught 88 impaired drivers, and 11-hundred speeders but one of his stops almost turned deadly, when he was hit by an impaired driver. It took almost a month for him to recover.
On top of his law enforcement efforts, Bjorkman spends hundreds of hours volunteering for numerous charity's and community groups.
