Another shining light for youngsters is Officer Norm Lecours of the Everett Police Department.When he's not fighting crime, the 37-year veteran works with young people as a foster parent.
He and his wife have fostered almost a thousand kids over the past 35 years and many of those children have gone on to be very successful community members.
Right now, Officer Lecours is helping three kids, providing them with a safe and secure place to call home.
