Pacific Northwest stop on the Road to Hope: Police Memorial Drive.

A police memorial drive from Vancouver BC to attend the US National Law Enforcement Memorial In Washington D.C. on May 15. The 4,000 mile journey is called the "Road To Hope" and the purpose is to raise public awareness about officer line-of-duty deaths. As a tribute to their sacrifice we display the names of all 129 officers killed-in-the-line-of-duty in 2009, on the hood of our Hummer H3.

A: The law states that when practical and where no sidewalks are provided, you should walk on the left side of the road, going against traffic. This is for a number of reasons. For example, if you are on the left side of the road, you can see when cars are approaching and have the opportunity to get out of the way should a drunk driver or somebody distracted come into your portion of the roadway. — Sgt.
