CAPTURED: CORINTHIAN CUNNINGHAM: Convicted Felon Now Accused Of Violent Home-Invasion

UPDATE: U.S. Marshals Task Force Arrest Home Invasion Robbery Suspect!

Members of the U.S. Marshals Pacific Northwest Fugitive Apprehension Task Force, along with members of the Seattle Police Department, arrested Corinthian Ivan Cunningham earlier today in North Seattle.  Cunningham, a known gang member, was wanted by the Seattle Police Department for a home invasion robbery and assault that occurred Sept. 19, 2009, when he and four other individuals allegedly broke into a home and robbed the homeowner at gunpoint taking cash and merchandise valued at over $5,000.  The homeowner was struck several times in the head during the robbery.

The investigation led task force investigators to believe Cunningham had fled to Missouri  before returning to the Seattle area.  Task force personnel conducted surveillance on individuals in the north Seattle area today and, upon verifying Cunningham’s presence in a vehicle leaving the surveillance location, requested a traffic stop be conducted by Seattle Police patrol units.  Cunningham was identified during the traffic stop and taken into custody without incident.

“Today’s arrest is a an example of the success achieved through collaborative policing efforts and sends a clear message to fugitives that no matter where they run, there will be dedicated law enforcement officers pursuing and ultimately apprehending them,” said U.S. Marshal Mark Ericks of the Western District of Washington.

Cops say he created real-life nightmare for North Seattle family.

Corinthian Cunningham, who also goes be the name "Cori", is being hunted by Seattle police and U.S. Marshal's right now, after being accused in a violent home-invasion.

Here's how cops say it all went down: A man and his wife were on the couch in their North Seattle home. Their two small kids were asleep in a bedroom, when police say Corinthian Cunningham and four other thugs busted in - two of them packing heat - and wreaked havoc - pistol whipping the man in the head, stealing his Rolex watch, thousands in cash, and an X-Box.

Cops say Cunningham and his buddies took off, and luckily the kids were never hurt.
