PIERCE COUNTY -
Several Washington's Most Wanted viewers have helped deputies track down an assault suspect police consider very dangerous. The arrest of Phil Phillips is the program's 102nd captured fugitive.
Phillips is accused of beating his girlfriend with his fist and threatening to come back with a gun.
Acting on several anonymous tips called into Crime Stoppers, Pierce County Sheriff's deputies arrested Phillips at an address in Gig Harbor Tuesday.
The officers booked him Pierce County Jail, then transferred him to the Cowlitz County Jail.
In November of 2009 Phillips beat up his girlfriend with his fist -- then threatened to return with a gun. As he left, he rammed his car into two other cars before taking off.
Detectives call him a "Highly Violent Offender", because he's known to threaten people with weapons.
He's had an active warrant for his arrest from the Department of Corrections, since last October -- on a charge of riot with a deadly weapon.
