SEATTLE—
An amber alert is now cancelled. Two children are safe and a suspect is in custody in Salem, OR after an abduction from their home at Joint Base Lewis-McChord Wednesday morning.Authorities say Alan Ray Fish abducted Dylan Fish and Rueben Fish from their home.
The children were turned over to law enforcement personnel in Salem, Oregon.
The children will be returned to their mother later today.
Joint Base Lewis-McChord CID and the FBI continue to investigate this incident.
The group was last seen leaving in a silver colored Honda Element with Oregon plates. The car headed south on I-5 toward Oregon.
Q13 FOX News has obtained court documents that reveal the suspect, Alan Ray Fish, has a temporary protection order filed against him. He has a previous history of domestic violence. His wife filed the order Tuesday and a hearing was set for March 30.
